In the presence of authors Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, Margaux Cassan, Vanessa Schneider and Chiara Parisi

This monograph devoted to Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost's interior design work over the last thirty years provides an opportunity to revisit her important research through models, drawings and prototypes.

Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost is a designer and artistic director at the Dominique Perrault Architecture agency. A graduate of the Camondo School, she worked with Patrick Rubin (Atelier Canal) and Zaha Hadid in London before joining Dominique Perrault in 1989 for the French National Library project. Over more than three decades, their collaboration has resulted in the creation of iconic buildings, including the major extension of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, Ewha Womans University in Korea and the redevelopment of the Dufour Pavilion at the Palace of Versailles, for which they also designed lighting and furniture.

The monograph contains a portfolio of various projects that allows readers to immerse themselves in the interiors, with projects presented chronologically and illustrated by photographs by Flore Lorente and Alexandre Guirkinguer. The book also includes several previously unpublished texts devoted to the work of Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, including an interview with the designer conducted by Vanessa Schneider and an essay by Chiara Parisi. An approach to her various architectural projects is also offered through texts by Margaux Cassan.

Vanessa Schneider is a French journalist (Le Monde), novelist and essayist, best known for her political essays and her novel Tu t’appelais Maria Schneider (2018). Margaux Cassan is a philosopher and author who has published two novels with Grasset, Vivre nu (2023) and Ultraviolet (2024). Chiara Parisi is an art historian, exhibition curator and director of the Centre Pompidou-Metz.
