"Fragments" traces the discourse of Franco-Japanese architecture studio Moreau Kusunoki, revealing its approach to architecture as it moves between scales, materials, and contexts. Nicolas Moreau and Hiroko Kusunoki reflect on their architectural and conceptual practice through five conversations, exploring the development of ideas, memories, and imagery that underpin the studio's work. Illustrated with archival material alongside key projects including Guggenheim Helsinki, Powerhouse Parramatta, and the Centre Pompidou renovation, these dialogues examine the tensions between precision and intuition, the tangible and the ephemeral, the individual and the collective, offering insights into design processes and intellectual pursuits.
Edited by Nicolas Moreau & Hiroko Kusunoki
