Jochen Lempert - Paare / Pairs

Artist's book published on the occasion of the solo exhibition Jochen Lempert at Portikus in Frankfurt. With a mix of new and older photos, Lempert composed a sequence showing different ways to look at pairs.

Since the 1990s, Jochen Lempert has used the book itself as a classic medium for conveying knowledge, narration, and visual experiments. On the occasion of his exhibition at Portikus, the publication Jochen Lempert: Paare / Pairs is published in close collaboration with the artist and Roma Publications in Amsterdam. Combining new and older photographs, Lempert composed a sequence showing different ways to look at pairs.
