Palefroi - C'est l'histoire d'un animal qui commence par la lettre "L"

An animal sets off in search of the ideal place to live. It wants to find coolness and water.

Along the way, it meets a whole bunch of animals who join it in its quest for a better place to live. But each has its own criteria for the perfect place.

Damien Tran and Marion Jdanoff have been working together for nearly fifteen years under the name "Palefroi".

Their practice revolves around drawing, printmaking, painting and animated film.

They have self-published numerous fanzines together, most often printed using screen printing or risography, thus providing themselves with a huge playground.

They have held around thirty exhibitions in Europe and Asia. Their films and publications have been presented at numerous international festivals.

Tran and Jdanoff are self-taught artists. This is an aspect of their work that they have always emphasised rather than downplayed. The result is a sense of spontaneity and formal experimentation in their graphic projects.
